These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://heightcomparisonchart.net (the "Site") and the height comparison tool it provides (the "Service"), operated by HeightComparison ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting the Site or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Service lets you enter the names and heights of two or more people (or objects) and view them drawn side by side on a single proportional scale. It runs in your web browser, requires no account, and is provided free of charge. We may add, change or remove features at any time without notice.

The chart is calculated from the values you enter. If those values are wrong, the chart will be wrong. We make no representation that any height you see on the Site, including any example, celebrity or reference height, is accurate or current.

The Site is for general information and entertainment. It is not medical, health, fitness or growth advice. If you have concerns about a child's growth or your own health, consult a qualified medical professional.

You agree not to:

• use the Service to harass, bully, demean or embarrass any person, including by creating or sharing comparisons intended to ridicule someone's height or body;
• enter or share personal information about another person without their consent where doing so would violate their privacy or any applicable law;
• attempt to interfere with, overload, scrape at scale, reverse engineer or disrupt the Site or the servers and networks that host it;
• use automated tools to access the Site in a way that sends more requests than a person could reasonably make in the same period;
• remove or alter any copyright, trademark or attribution notice on the Site or on images exported from it;
• use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful in your jurisdiction.

You are responsible for the names, heights and other information you enter. We do not store that information on our servers, but when you create a shared link the information is encoded in the link itself and becomes visible to anyone who opens it. You share links at your own discretion and risk.

You retain all rights to the information you enter. You may freely use, publish and distribute charts you export from the Service, including for commercial purposes, provided you comply with these Terms.

The Site, including its design, code, text, graphics, figure illustrations, logo and name, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Except for charts you export for your own use as described above, you may not copy, reproduce, republish or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written permission.

You may link to any page of the Site, and you may quote short excerpts of our written guides with attribution and a link back to the source page.

The Site is supported by advertising, which may be served by Google AdSense or other ad networks. We do not endorse the products or services advertised, and any dealings you have with an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser. The Site may also link to third-party websites that we do not control and for which we are not responsible.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HeightComparison AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR SERVICE. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100).

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page and changing the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms. We encourage you to check this page occasionally.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
